INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 4 sheets fish cake
- đź§… 1 small onion
- 🥕 1/2 small carrot
- 1 green chili pepper
- đź§… 1/2 green onion
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- Enough water to cover fish cakes
Seasoning
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut fish cakes and vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Remove chili pepper if you prefer less spice.
Heat a pan with cooking oil and 1 tbsp minced garlic on low heat. Stir-fry to release garlic aroma.
Add fish cakes to the pan and lightly stir-fry.
Pour enough water to slightly cover the fish cakes. This is the key to making them moist.
Add 1 tbsp sugar and 5 tbsp soy sauce. Stir well.
Add pre-cut vegetables and stir-fry until cooked through.
If you prefer spicy, add 1 tbsp chili powder. Skip for children-friendly version.
Finish with sesame oil and sesame seeds. Mix well.
Serve and enjoy the soft and moist stir-fried fish cakes.
