    • 4 slices bacon
    • 6 snap peas (60g)
    • đź§… 1/2 onion (100g), sliced
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Soup Base

    • 1/2 tsp consomme
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • 🍅 200ml unsalted tomato juice
    • đź’§ 200ml water

Remove the strings from snap peas and cut them diagonally in half. Slice the onion thinly.

Cut the bacon into 7mm wide strips.

Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat, add bacon and onion, and sauté until the onion becomes tender.

Add the soup base ingredients (consomme, salt, pepper, tomato juice, and water), stir well, and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 4–5 minutes. Add snap peas and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
