Simple Teriyaki-style Yellowtail

INGREDIENTS

  • Fish

    • 200g yellowtail fillets (2 pieces)
  • Vegetables

    • 2 bell peppers
  • Cooking Oil

    • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

Sprinkle sake over the yellowtail fillets and let them sit for 5 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels.

Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds, and slice into halves again.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the yellowtail fillets skin-side down and cook for 3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until fully cooked.

Wipe excess oil with paper towels, add bell peppers and BBQ sauce, and simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
