INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 100g fish cake, bite-sized
Seasonings
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cooking syrup
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Liquid
- 2 cups water
STEPS
Wash your hands and prepare all ingredients.
Prepare the soy sauce mixture by combining water, soy sauce, sugar, and cooking syrup in a pot. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
Add the fish cakes to the boiling soy sauce mixture and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Preheat a pan on medium heat for 3 minutes. Add bean sprouts and stir-fry for 30 seconds without oil.
Add the simmered fish cakes and oyster sauce to the pan. Stir-fry everything together for another 30 seconds.
Turn off the heat and finish with sesame oil for added aroma.
