INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥦 1/2 head broccoli (125g)
- 🥕 1/2 carrot (75g)
- 2 turnips with leaves (160g)
- đź’§ 100cc water
Sauce
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp ground sesame seeds
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
STEPS
Cut broccoli into small florets and peel the stem, slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Peel the carrot and slice it into 7mm thick rounds. Trim the turnip stems to 3cm, peel thickly, and quarter them vertically.
Place carrot, turnip, and water into a frying pan. Cover with a lid and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and steam for about 3 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add broccoli, cover, and steam for another 2 minutes.
Mix the sauce ingredients (mayonnaise, miso, sesame seeds, and sugar) in a bowl.
Serve the steamed vegetables on a plate and accompany them with the miso-mayo sauce.
