INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🦑 1 small squid, cleaned and cut
- 1 green chili or shishito pepper
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tbsp cooking wine
- đź§„ 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 pinch ginger powder
- 🍬 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- A sprinkle of sesame seeds
- đź’§ 6 tbsp water
- A pinch of black pepper
STEPS
Combine all seasoning ingredients except sesame oil and sesame seeds in a pan. Bring to a boil.
Add the cleaned and cut squid to the boiling sauce.
Add the green chili or shishito pepper and simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
Finish by drizzling sesame oil and sprinkling sesame seeds on top.
