- 🍚 2 cups cooked rice
- 3 strips pork belly
- đź§… 1 onion, sliced
- 6 perilla leaves, sliced
- 🥚 2 eggs
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of chopped green onion
Soy Sauce Marinade
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 green chili, minced
STEPS
Prepare the pork belly, onion, and perilla leaves by slicing them. Wash the perilla leaves thoroughly.
Mix the soy sauce marinade ingredients: soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, mirin, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chili powder, and minced green chili.
Heat a frying pan and cook the pork belly strips until they are browned on both sides.
Add sliced onion to the pan and cook together with the pork belly until the onion softens.
Cut the cooked pork belly into bite-sized pieces and pour the prepared marinade over the pork and onion. Simmer on low heat for 1 minute.
Place cooked rice in a bowl, top with the pork belly and onion mixture, and garnish with black pepper, sesame seeds, green onion, sliced perilla leaves, and eggs as desired.
