INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 5 sheets seaweed for gimbap
- 15 perilla leaves
- 🥚 6 eggs
- 4 cups cooked brown rice
- 10 slices cheddar cheese
- 🥕 60g carrot, finely chopped
- 40g chives, finely chopped
- đź§‚ 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Mix the cooked brown rice with sesame oil and sesame seeds in a bowl to season the rice.
Finely chop the carrot and chives for the egg roll filling.
Beat the eggs in a bowl and mix in the chopped carrot and chives.
Season the egg mixture with salt and stir well.
Cook the egg mixture in a greased pan, rolling it into a log shape as it cooks.
Place a sheet of seaweed on a bamboo mat and spread the seasoned rice evenly over it.
Layer perilla leaves and cheddar cheese slices on top of the rice.
Place the cooked egg roll on top and roll the gimbap tightly using the bamboo mat.
Slice the rolled gimbap into bite-sized pieces and serve.
