INGREDIENTS
Essential Ingredients
- 🧈 1 block tofu
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🧅 1/2 green onion
Seasoning Ingredients
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 🧂 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
STEPS
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the green onion thinly.
Dice the onion into small square pieces.
Layer the ingredients in a pot: onion -> tofu -> green onion.
Prepare the seasoning mix: chili powder, sugar, sesame oil, cooking wine, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
Add half a cup of water to the seasoning mix and pour it into the pot.
Simmer the pot until the tofu is well braised and the sauce thickens.
Transfer the braised tofu to a serving dish.
