- 🎃 200g pumpkin
Seafood
- 🦑 1 whole squid
Broth
- 💧 200cc water
- 1/4 tsp dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
STEPS
Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces. Remove the squid's body and innards, then pull out the tentacles along with the innards.
Remove the squid's beak and cut off the dirty parts of the tentacles. Wash all parts except the innards under running water.
Cut the squid into bite-sized pieces.
Add the broth ingredients (water, dashi powder, sake, soy sauce, mirin) to a pot and place the pumpkin inside. Cover with a lid.
Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes until the pumpkin softens. Add the squid, cover again, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
