    • 🥔 3 medium potatoes (300g)
  • Liquids

    • đź’§ 150cc water
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1/3 tsp dashi powder

Cut the potatoes into large bite-sized pieces. Soak them in water and drain.

In a pot, mix water and the seasonings (sake, mirin, sugar, dashi powder). Add the potatoes and heat over medium heat until boiling. Cover and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes. Add soy sauce and mix. Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes, flipping the potatoes occasionally.

Uncover the pot and gently stir occasionally while cooking over medium-high heat for 1 minute to reduce the liquid slightly.
