INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 10cm (300g) daikon radish
- 1 block (250g) konjac
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
STEPS
Cut the daikon radish in half lengthwise, place the cut side down, and slice into 1.5cm thick pieces. Tear the konjac into bite-sized pieces using a spoon.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the konjac and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Add the daikon radish and stir briefly, then add all the ☆ seasonings. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes.
Serve in a dish and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
