    • Daikon radish 1 (about 500g, roughly chopped)
    • 🍗 Chicken thigh 300g (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Seasonings

    • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
    • 🍬 Sugar 1 tbsp
    • Mirin 1 tbsp
    • Dashi stock 400ml

STEPS

Peel the daikon radish and cut it into rough chunks.

Bring the dashi stock to a boil in a pot and add the daikon.

Add soy sauce, sugar, and mirin, then add the chicken thigh pieces.

Simmer on medium heat for about 20–30 minutes until the daikon is tender, then it's ready to serve.
