- 🍗 18 chicken wings
- 🌱 3 scallions
- 12 bird's eye chilies
- 1/2 tbsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Sauce
- 🍊 6 tbsp orange marmalade
- 🟤 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1.4 tsp apple vinegar
- đź§‚ 3/4 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Preheat the air fryer to 160°C and cook 18 chicken wings until golden brown. While the wings are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Adjust sweetness to taste.
In a pan, heat a small amount of oil over high heat. Add bird's eye chilies, roughly chopped scallions, and minced ginger. Stir-fry until aromatic.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the cooked chicken wings. Stir to coat the wings with the spicy aroma.
Sprinkle 1/2 tsp black pepper over the wings and continue stirring.
Add the prepared sauce to the pan. Lower the heat to a simmer and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the wings.
Once the wings are glossy and evenly coated, remove from heat and serve.
