STEPS

In a pot, sauté 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1/2 chopped onion, and the white part of 1 sliced green onion with 1 tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp cooking oil.

Add 2 tbsp chili powder and stir to prevent burning.

Add 400g soft tofu and 1 tbsp shrimp paste.

Pour in 2 cups kelp and anchovy broth and bring to a boil.

Slice the green part of the green onion and add it to the stew. Let it simmer.

Transfer the stew to a small earthenware pot and crack 1 egg into it.

Let the stew boil once more, then turn off the heat and serve.
