Noodles
- 🍜 2 packs steamed Chinese noodles
Seafood
- 🍤 150g peeled shrimp
Vegetables
- 🥬 2 heads bok choy
- đź§… 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1/2 piece julienned ginger
Thickening Agent
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- Vinegar to taste
- 1 tsp sake
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt
- đź’§ 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Prepare the shrimp by marinating with sake and salt for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp salad oil in a pan and fry the Chinese noodles until crispy on both sides.
In another pan, heat 1 tbsp salad oil and sauté ginger, green onion, and bok choy until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the pan and stir-fry until cooked through.
Pour water, soy sauce, sugar, chicken stock powder, and pepper into the pan. Bring to a boil.
Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Gradually add to the pan to thicken the sauce.
Serve the crispy noodles on a plate and pour the thickened sauce over them.
