INGREDIENTS

- 🍤 50g peeled shrimp
Processed Food
- 1 piece (100g) fish cake
Vegetables
- 🌱 30g green peas
Thickening Agent
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch for peas
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
Broth
- 💧 100cc water
- 1 tsp mirin
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
STEPS
Mix green peas with 1/2 tbsp potato starch in a bowl.
Finely chop the peeled shrimp and mash until sticky.
Combine shrimp, fish cake, and seasonings (☆) in a plastic bag and knead thoroughly. Add green peas and mix.
Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape into balls.
Boil water in a pot, add the shrimp balls, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Prepare the broth by boiling water, mirin, salt, and soy sauce (★) in a separate pot.
Serve the shrimp balls in a bowl and pour the broth over them.
