    • 8 slices thinly sliced pork belly (150g)
  • Seafood

    • 8 shishamo (semi-dried)
  • Vegetables

    • 8 shiso leaves
    • Chopped green onion, as needed
  • Seasoning

    • đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
  • Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Garnish

    • 🍋 1 wedge of lemon

Trim the stems off the shiso leaves.

Season the pork belly slices with salt and pepper. Place one slice vertically, layer with a shiso leaf and a shishamo, leaving the head and tail exposed, then roll tightly. Repeat for all 8 rolls.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until browned. Flip, remove excess oil with a paper towel, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes until the shishamo is fully cooked.

Plate the rolls, garnish with chopped green onion and a wedge of lemon.
