INGREDIENTS
Egg
- 🥚 3 eggs
Fish
- 1 can (100g) seasoned sardines
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
STEPS
Break the sardines into rough pieces.
In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them to break the egg whites. Add the sardines and seasonings (sugar and salt) and mix to create the egg mixture.
Heat a tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly coat it with salad oil using a paper towel. Pour 1/3 of the egg mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly. Cook until semi-set, then fold the egg towards you.
Push the folded egg to the back of the pan. Lightly coat the pan with oil again using a paper towel. Pour another 1/3 of the egg mixture, lifting the folded egg to let the mixture flow underneath. Repeat the folding process.
Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture. Wrap the finished omelette in a paper towel and let it rest to shape. Cut into bite-sized pieces before serving.
