    • 1 tbsp red pepper paste
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp cooking wine
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil

STEPS

Soak the mackerel in rice water for 20 minutes to remove the fishy smell.

Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl to create the sauce.

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped green onions, and sauté until fragrant. Remove the green onions and set aside.

In the same pan, cook the mackerel on both sides until golden brown.

Combine the sautéed green onions with the sauce and brush it over the cooked mackerel.
