INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦪 6 boiled scallops (240g)
Vegetables
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- đź§… 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cornstarch, as needed
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Nanban Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- Sliced chili, to taste
- đź’§ 80ml water
STEPS
Slice the red bell pepper thinly. Thinly slice the onion and soak it in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
Mix the Nanban sauce ingredients in a bowl and add the sliced red bell pepper and onion. Stir well.
Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then coat them with cornstarch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the scallops until both sides are golden brown.
Add the fried scallops to the Nanban sauce and let them marinate for 10 minutes. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
