  • Fish

    • 2 fillets (160g) sawara
  • Vegetables

    • đź§… 1/2 onion
    • 1/4 green onion
    • 🥕 1/4 carrot
  • Seasoning

    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
    • Adequate amount of salad oil
  • Sweet and Sour Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp vinegar
    • 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
    • đź’§ 100cc water

STEPS

Cut the sawara into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with salt, let sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry with paper towels and coat with potato starch.

Cut the onion into 1cm slices, slice the carrot thinly into 1cm pieces, and diagonally slice the green onion.

Heat salad oil in a pan to about 1cm depth, fry the sawara and vegetables until golden, then remove.

Discard the oil, wipe the pan clean with paper towels, and add the sauce ingredients. Mix well and heat over medium heat.

Once the sauce thickens, add the fried ingredients and mix well.
