- 🦑 200g frozen squid rings
Vegetables
- 200g frozen satoimo (taro)
Oil and Spices
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- A pinch of sliced chili
- đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
- A pinch of chopped parsley
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 🍅 200g canned chopped tomatoes
- đź’§ 80ml water
STEPS
Heat olive oil and chili in a frying pan. Add squid and grated garlic, stir-fry over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Remove the squid.
Add satoimo and the seasonings (sake, sugar, salt, pepper, canned tomatoes, and water). Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 8–9 minutes.
Return the squid to the pan and simmer for 1 minute. Serve on a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
