    • 6 tbsp soy sauce
    • đź§‚ 2 tbsp sugar
    • 3 tbsp mirin
    • đź’§ 200 ml water
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

Heat a pan and place 4 strips of pork belly. Sprinkle black pepper and cook until golden brown.

Flip the pork belly, sprinkle black pepper again, and cook until golden brown on the other side.

In a bowl, mix 6 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp mirin, 200 ml water, garlic, onion, and green onion. Optionally, add 1 tbsp oyster sauce.

Bring the soy sauce mixture to a boil in the pan.

Cut the cooked pork belly in half and add it to the boiling sauce.

Simmer until the sauce thickens and the pork is tender. Slice the pork into bite-sized pieces and serve over rice.
