INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 200g salmon fillets
Vegetables
- 180g grated daikon
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp ponzu sauce
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and coat with potato starch.
Grate the daikon and lightly squeeze out excess water.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes until fully cooked.
Wipe off excess oil from the pan with paper towels. Add sake, mirin, and ponzu sauce, mix, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1 minute, then add grated daikon and mix briefly.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
