INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 1 fillet (100g) salmon
- 🥬 5cm (150g) daikon
- 🥕 1/2 carrot (75g)
- 4 frozen satoimo (100g)
- 🥛 100cc unsweetened soy milk
- 🧀 Grated cheese to taste
- 🧂 A pinch of pepper
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Soup Base
- 1 tbsp shio koji
- 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi granules
- 💧 200cc water
STEPS
Peel and slice the daikon and carrot into thin pieces.
In a pot, combine water, shio koji, and dashi granules. Bring to a boil.
Add the daikon, carrot, and frozen satoimo to the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the salmon fillet and cook for 5 minutes until fully cooked.
Lower the heat and pour in the soy milk. Stir gently and heat for 2 minutes.
Serve the soup in bowls, garnish with grated cheese, chopped green onion, and a pinch of pepper.
