    • 🐟 2 fillets mackerel (160g)
  • Fruit

    • 🍋 1/4 yuzu
  • Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce

Thinly slice the yuzu peel into strips and squeeze the juice.

Place the mackerel, yuzu juice, and seasoning (sake, mirin, soy sauce) into a resealable bag. Remove air, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Remove excess marinade from the mackerel and place skin-side down. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.

Flip the mackerel, cover with a lid, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until fully cooked. Serve on a plate and garnish with yuzu peel.
