INGREDIENTS

  • Noodles

    • 150g somen noodles
  • Canned Fish

    • 190g canned saba (mackerel)
  • Vegetables

    • 🍅 1 tomato, diced
    • 🥒 1 cucumber, julienned
    • 4 shiso leaves, julienned
  • Sauce

    • 2 tbsp concentrated noodle sauce
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Toppings

    • A pinch of toasted white sesame seeds

Dice the tomato into 1cm cubes. Julienne the cucumber and shiso leaves. Roughly flake the canned saba.

Boil water in a pot and cook the somen noodles according to package instructions. Rinse under cold water and drain well.

In a bowl, mix the noodle sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Add the canned saba, diced tomato, and julienned shiso leaves, and mix well.

Plate the somen noodles, top with julienned cucumber, and spoon the mixed sauce and toppings over the noodles. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds to finish.
