INGREDIENTS
Shrimp
- 🍤 6 shelled shrimps
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 50cc water
- 🌾 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🍞 Enough breadcrumbs
Tartar Sauce
- 🥚 1 boiled egg
- 🧴 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 🍶 1 tsp vinegar
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
STEPS
Mash the boiled egg roughly in a bowl using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar, then mix to prepare tartar sauce.
Peel the shrimp and remove the vein. Cut along the belly side to open, season with salt and pepper, then roll the shrimp with the back side inward and secure with a toothpick.
In a container, beat the egg, add water and flour, and mix well to create the batter.
Dip the shrimp in the batter, coat with breadcrumbs, and deep-fry in 180°C oil until golden brown.
