INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
Protein
- 🍖 8 slices prosciutto
Vegetables
- 🌽 30g frozen corn
- 8 shiso leaves
Seasoning
- 🌰 1/2 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 🍶 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
Garnish
- 🌿 Italian parsley, as needed
STEPS
Mix the vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Add the cooked rice, frozen corn, and white sesame seeds to the bowl. Gently mix using a cutting motion and let it cool to make sushi rice.
Divide the sushi rice into 8 equal portions. Place a slice of prosciutto and a shiso leaf on a piece of plastic wrap, then add one portion of sushi rice on top. Twist the wrap to form a ball and let it set. Repeat for all portions.
Arrange the sushi balls on a plate and garnish with Italian parsley.
