INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥔 3 medium potatoes, sliced
- đź§… 1 medium onion, sliced
- đź§„ 2 stalks green onion, chopped
- 3 green chili peppers, sliced
Protein
- 1 can of spam, mashed
Condiments
- 1/3 tbsp soybean paste
- 1 tbsp red chili paste
- 2 tbsp red chili powder
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
Liquid
- đź’§ 2 cups water
STEPS
Slice the potatoes into thick pieces and prepare them.
Slice the onion to match the thickness of the potatoes.
Mash the spam completely in a plastic bag.
Chop the green onions into appropriate sizes.
Slice the green chili peppers into small pieces.
Add all prepared ingredients into a pot.
Add soybean paste, red chili paste, red chili powder, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic to the pot.
Pour 2 cups of water into the pot.
Turn on the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer until the liquid thickens.
Serve the potato jjageuli with rice or as a side dish.
