INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥔 3 potatoes, sliced thick
- đź§… 1 onion, sliced thick
- đź§„ 1 stalk green onion, chopped
- 2-3 green chili peppers, chopped
Protein
- 1 can spam, crushed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1/3 tbsp doenjang (fermented soybean paste)
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
Liquid
- đź’§ 3 cups water
STEPS
Slice potatoes and onion thickly. Chop green onion and chili peppers.
Crush spam in a plastic bag using your hands. Avoid crushing it too finely for better texture.
In a pot, combine vegetables, seasonings, spam, and water. Mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat to low and simmer until the stew thickens.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
