INGREDIENTS
Main
- 8 slices pork belly (160g)
- 60g mentaiko
- đź§€ 2 slices melting cheese
- 2 sheets nori
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Coating
- Enough all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 30g breadcrumbs
STEPS
Scoop out the insides of the mentaiko using a spoon.
Lay 4 slices of pork belly slightly overlapping vertically. Place nori, melting cheese, and half of the mentaiko on the edge, then roll tightly. Repeat to make 2 rolls.
Coat the rolls in all-purpose flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in order.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C in a pan, about 3cm deep. Fry the rolls for 3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and fry for another 3 minutes until cooked through.
