  • Meat

    • 150g thinly sliced pork belly
  • Vegetables

    • 3 lettuce leaves
  • Seasoning

    • đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
  • Coating

    • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • Oil

    • Enough salad oil for frying
  • Sauce

    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp ground white sesame
    • 1/2 tbsp vinegar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp miso
    • đź’§ 1 tbsp water

Cut the pork belly into halves. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch.

Slice the lettuce into 1cm wide strips.

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to make the sesame miso sauce.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 180°C. Fry the pork belly for 2–3 minutes, flipping occasionally until crispy.

Arrange lettuce on a plate, place the fried pork belly on top, and drizzle with sesame miso sauce.
