    • 🍬 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Filling

    • 🧈 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 🍬 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
    • 🌰 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Pour water into a liquid measure. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and active dry yeast; stir until dissolved. Let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes.

Warm milk in a saucepan until bubbles form. Remove from heat, then stir in sugar, butter, and salt. Let cool to lukewarm.

Whisk eggs, then mix with yeast and milk mixtures, adding 1.5 cups flour gradually.
