INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 200g ground chicken
- 🧅 1/2 onion, roughly chopped (100g)
- Vegetable oil, as needed for frying
Seasoning for Meat Mixture
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Side Garnish
- 2 lettuce leaves (60g)
STEPS
Roughly chop the onion into small pieces.
In a plastic bag, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, and all seasoning ingredients (☆). Knead until the mixture becomes sticky.
Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 170°C (about 3cm deep). Using a spoon, shape the meat mixture and drop it gently into the oil. Fry for about 4 minutes until cooked through.
Tear the lettuce into pieces and place them on a serving plate. Arrange the fried fritters on top.
