Nori Wrapped Pork Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • Meat

    • 12 slices thinly sliced pork loin (240g)
  • Seaweed

    • 12 sheets seasoned nori
  • Starch

    • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce

STEPS

Lay 2 slices of pork slightly overlapping in a vertical line. Sprinkle potato starch and place 2 sheets of seasoned nori on top. Roll tightly from the edge and press to seal the end. Repeat to make 6 rolls.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until browned. Rotate to cook all sides until the pork changes color. Cover with a lid and steam on low heat for 4 minutes.

Add the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce) and cook while rolling the rolls until the sauce thickens and coats them.
