INGREDIENTS

- 🥔 2 potatoes (300g)
Starch
- 50g potato starch
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp aonori (green seaweed)

STEPS
Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak them in water. Drain the water, place the potatoes in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 6 minutes. Mash the potatoes while hot, then mix in potato starch, salt, and aonori. Divide into 16 portions to form the dough.
Cut the string cheese into 8 equal pieces.
Flatten 1/16 of the dough, place a piece of string cheese on top, and wrap it into a ball. Repeat to make 16 balls. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a pan to a depth of 1cm and bring to 170°C. Fry the dough balls for 3–4 minutes, turning them until they are lightly golden brown.
