INGREDIENTS
Noodles
- 4 servings glass noodles
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/2 carrot, sliced
- đź§… 1 onion, sliced
- 🥬 1/2 bunch spinach, blanched
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 🍄 1 king oyster mushroom, sliced
Protein
- 50g pork, sliced
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
STEPS
Soak the glass noodles in water for about 20 minutes.
Blanch the spinach briefly in boiling water and set aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the sliced vegetables until slightly softened. Set aside.
Drain the soaked noodles and stir-fry them in the pan with oil. Add soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and sesame seeds to season.
Add the cooked pork and stir-fried vegetables to the noodles. Mix and stir-fry everything together.
Serve the japchae warm or at room temperature. The oil coating prevents the noodles from sticking even when cooled.
