Nira and Wakame Vermicelli Soup

INGREDIENTS

    • 20g short-type vermicelli
    • 25g nira (Chinese chives), chopped
    • 1/2 tbsp dried wakame
  • Seasonings

    • 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • A pinch of pepper
    • 💧 400ml water

STEPS

Trim the root ends of the nira and cut into 3cm pieces.

In a pot, combine all the seasonings (☆) and heat over medium heat until boiling.

Add the dried wakame and vermicelli to the boiling soup. Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped nira and cook briefly until just tender.
