INGREDIENTS

  • Dough

    • 200g pancake mix
    • đź§‚ 1 pinch salt
    • đź’§ 70cc water
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Filling

    • 100g ground pork
    • đź§… 80g minced green onion
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Finishing

    • 1 tbsp sesame oil

STEPS

Mix all dough ingredients in a bowl until combined. Knead until smooth and divide into 6 portions, shaping into balls.

Finely mince the green onion.

Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl and mix until sticky.

Flatten each dough ball, place 1/6 of the filling in the center, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat for all 6 buns.

Place buns seam-side down in a frying pan, add 100cc water, and bring to a boil. Cover and steam on low heat for 7 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat to evaporate excess water.

Drizzle sesame oil around the buns and pan-fry on medium heat until crispy.
