    • 🍚 2 cups washed rice

  • Chicken

    • 🍗 500g chicken thighs
    • 1 slice ginger
  • Seasoning for Rice

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder
    • A pinch of pepper
  • Negi Salt Sauce

    • đź§… 165g minced green onion
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • A pinch of pepper
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice

Trim excess fat from the chicken thighs.

Add washed rice, seasoning for rice, and water to the rice cooker up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice. Place ginger and chicken thighs skin-side down on top, then cook as usual.

Mince the green onion and mix it with the other Negi Salt Sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Once the rice is cooked, remove the ginger and chicken thighs. Fluff the rice gently. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Serve the rice and chicken on a plate, and drizzle with Negi Salt Sauce.
