INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 300g thinly sliced pork belly
- 300g cabbage (1/6 head)
- 1 green onion
- đź§„ 2 cloves garlic
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 600ml water
Negi Salt Sauce
- 1/2 green onion, minced
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- 🍋 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 4 tbsp water
STEPS
Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slice the green onion thinly, and slice the garlic. Prepare chicken stock by mixing water and chicken stock powder.
Mince 1/2 green onion and mix all Negi Salt Sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Layer half of the cabbage, pork, and green onion in a pot. Repeat the layering, pour the chicken stock over, scatter garlic slices, and cover with a lid. Heat on medium.
Once boiling, reduce to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the Negi Salt Sauce over, cover, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with pepper if desired.
