Negi and Chirimenjako Aburaage Pizza

    • 1 piece aburaage (20g)
    • 2 tbsp chirimenjako
    • đź§… 1/2 stalk negi (green onion)
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • đź§€ 30g pizza cheese
  • Topping

    • Pinch of black pepper

STEPS

Slice the negi (green onion) thinly at an angle.

Pat the aburaage with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Cut three edges (except one long edge) about 5mm and open it up. Finely chop the trimmed edges.

Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Place the aburaage with the inner side facing up. Layer with negi, salt and pepper, chirimenjako, chopped aburaage, and pizza cheese in that order.

Toast in a toaster oven for 7–8 minutes until golden brown.

Cut into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with black pepper, and serve on a plate.
