INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 20g vermicelli
- 🍤 150g peeled shrimp
- 100g nanohana (rapeseed blossoms)
- đź§… 10cm white part of green onion
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Shrimp Ball Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1 pinch salt
- 1.5 tbsp potato starch
Soup Seasoning
- đź’§ 600ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
STEPS
Boil water in a pot, blanch nanohana briefly, then cool in water. Squeeze out excess water and cut into thirds. Mince the green onion and soak vermicelli briefly in water, then cut in half with kitchen scissors.
Remove the vein from peeled shrimp, wash with water, and pat dry. Chop the shrimp finely until sticky.
Mix shrimp, minced green onion, and shrimp ball seasoning in a bowl until well combined.
Heat soup seasoning in a pot over medium heat. Once boiling, scoop shrimp mixture into small balls using a spoon and add to the pot. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.
Add drained vermicelli to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes until softened. Add nanohana and warm through. Drizzle sesame oil before serving.
