INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 30g dried acorn jelly
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🥕 1/5 carrot, julienned
- đź§… 1 green onion, sliced
Seasonings
- đź§„ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1 pinch shiitake salt
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
STEPS
Soak dried acorn jelly in cold water for 5 hours, then blanch in boiling water for 1 minute until softened. Drain well.
Julienne carrot, onion, and green onion. Adjust vegetables based on preference.
Season the blanched acorn jelly with shiitake salt and mirin.
Heat a pan with cooking oil and stir-fry the seasoned jelly over medium heat.
Add soy sauce and stir-fry until the jelly is firm and flavorful.
Add carrot and onion, stir-frying until the vegetables are slightly softened.
Add green onion and sesame oil, stir well to combine, and finish cooking.
Plate the stir-fried jelly and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
