INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
Fish
- 🐟 1 can sardines in kabayaki sauce (100g)
Vegetables
- 3 shiso leaves, thinly sliced
- 2 slices ginger, minced
Condiments
- 1 umeboshi, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
STEPS
Remove the pit from the umeboshi and chop finely. Slice the shiso leaves thinly and mince the ginger.
In a frying pan, add the sardines with their sauce, ginger, umeboshi, and condiments. Stir and break the sardines apart while cooking over medium heat until the liquid evaporates.
Place the cooked rice in a bowl, add the sardine mixture, and mix well. Serve in a dish and garnish with shiso leaves.
