    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • A pinch of dashi powder

Cut the boiled bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces.

In a microwave-safe container, mix water, mirin, soy sauce, and dashi powder. Add the bamboo shoots and mix well. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.

Microwave at 600W for 7–8 minutes.

Remove from the microwave, add bonito flakes, and mix well. Cover again and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Stir again, cover, and let it sit for another 5 minutes before serving.
