INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/4 cabbage (300g)
Seasoning
- Flour, as needed
- 2 tsp salad oil
- Parsley, chopped, as needed
Meatballs
- 200g ground meat
- đź§… 1/2 onion, minced
- 🥛 3 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper, a pinch
Tomato Sauce
- 🍅 200g canned diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- đź§‚ Pepper, a pinch
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and mince the onion.
Place the minced onion in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Let it cool.
In a bowl, mix the meatball ingredients until sticky. Divide into 10 portions and shape into balls. Coat with flour.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Add the tomato sauce ingredients and mix well. Add the cabbage and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 7 minutes.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped parsley.
