INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 8 slices pork belly (120g)
Vegetables
- 8 snap peas
Seasoning

- 1 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
STEPS
Remove the strings from the snap peas.
Season pork slices with salt and pepper, then dust with potato starch using a tea strainer. Wrap each snap pea with one slice of pork. Repeat for all 8 pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan and place the wrapped snap peas seam-side down. Cook over medium heat until browned, turning occasionally until the meat is fully cooked.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, mirin) and simmer until the wraps are glazed.
